Help keep this directory honest

These directories profile independent local businesses from public sources and public sources go stale. You use these places. When a card is wrong, out of date or missing a business that's still trading, you're the one who knows first — this page is how you tell us.

How a card earns its state

Profiled. Every card starts here: built by us from public sources and checked on the date the card states.

Community-checked. Visitors have reported or confirmed a fact about the card and we've checked the claim. It shows on the card as a dated count — “Community reports: 3 · last report October 30, 2026” — never as a badge and never blended into anything stronger.

Verified. The operator confirmed their own card directly with us and the card carries the confirmed date. Community reports can flag a card that needs attention. They can never move one into Verified — only the operator can do that.

What you can report

  • A correction — a wrong price, a changed name or services that no longer match the card.
  • A confirmation — you were there recently and what the card says still matches.
  • A closure or a rebrand — the business has closed, moved or trades under a new name now.
  • A business we've missed — an independent operator that belongs on one of these shelves and isn't profiled yet.
  • A photo — photo submission opens once the directory has traffic moving through it. Operators can send a photo directly when they confirm their profile; the rules photos run under are set out below.

Photos

Cards carry no photo by default. Photo submission through this page opens once the directory has traffic moving through it and the submission form will appear here when it does. Until then the photo policy stands exactly as written: your own photo, an exterior or a storefront, checked by us before it publishes and labelled “Community photo” with the month and year, never as the operator's own picture. Photos are never lifted from the web, credited or not. Operators do not have to wait for the form: an operator confirming their profile in the contact round can send us a photo directly and it runs under the same rules. For mobile parks, photos are limited to the entrance, the signage and the shared spaces — homes and lots are residences and are never published from community submissions. An operator can have a community photo of their business removed on request at any time. The full rules are published in the listing standard.

Checked before anything changes. Nothing you submit publishes automatically. Every report lands in a moderation queue on our side and a card changes only after we check the claim against a public source or a second independent report. A closure report triggers our own records check before any public change, because a wrong closure costs an operator real business. Where a report and the operator's own word disagree, the operator's word about their own business wins at every rung.

About two minutes. Name the business and the city, tell us what you know and add a link if you have one. Your email is optional and only ever used to follow up about this report.

What you saw and when you saw it. Specific checks faster than general: “closed in September with the sign down” tells us more than “seems closed”.

A link that supports the report, if you have one — a news item, the business's own page or a public listing.

Only used to follow up about this report.

Report received

Your report reached our moderation queue. We check the claim against a public source or a second independent report and a card changes only if the claim holds up.

If you left an email, we may follow up about this report and nothing else.

Run one of these businesses?

Then your word outranks everything on this page. Community reports never override an operator about their own business and a correction or removal you ask for is done on request. The full rules live in the listing standard.
